A baby learning to walk falls many times. He is not a failure when he falls; he is constantly learning what works and doesn’t work as he navigates the ground. He doesn’t think he is a failure and no one else thinks he is either.
You would never dream of criticizing a baby for falling and you would never kick him when he's down. You would smile and say, "That's ok, stand up.Try again."
We are all babies learning to walk. Every “failure” we experience is just a fall as we navigate life. Every step we take in life either puts us on stable ground and we keep going, or we lose our balance and fall. But a fall is not a failure! Every fall teaches us something and like a baby we just need to stand up and try again. And like a baby, don’t let the falls keep you down.
