How to Have Compassion For Others

When someone does something to tick you off, it is so easy to get swept up in the moment, frustrated, and lip them off.

The thing is, people are doing what they think is best. You do it. I do it. Everyone does it. When I am faced with a decision, I weigh what’s best for me, what’s best for you, what’s best for everyone involved. And then I make my decision. Sometimes, it may tick someone else off, but I can’t help that. I simply did my best in that moment.

The next time someone does something to tick you off, put yourself in their shoes, know that they did what they thought was best and try to see it from their point of view.

Remember your Inner Child?  Well, everyone has an one, and it is up to us to recognize and take care of each other’s Inner Child with gentle understanding.
