There is an epidemic going around. People all over are suffering from victim mentality. They believe that they need the world to change before they can change. And what they don’t realize is that if they change, they can change the world.
People are playing the victim of their life. They are letting life situations dictate how they feel, what they do, and who they are. What they don’t realize is that they have it all wrong. They have it completely backwards. People are much more powerful than they ever thought. The truth is that how you feel, what you do, and who you are creates the world around you. Not the other way around.
Your relationship isn’t so good so you can’t communicate. But if you were to communicate, you’d have a better relationship.
Your kids are stressful so you can’t be patient and tolerant. But if you were to be patient and tolerant, the kids wouldn’t be as stressful.
You don’t have much of a relationship with God, so you don’t pray. But if you were to pray, you’d develop a relationship with God.
You are overweight so you feel bad about yourself. But if you were to feel good about yourself, it’d be easier to lose a few pounds.
You aren’t healthy so it’s hard to implement healthy eating and exercise habits in your life. But if you were to eat in moderation and move your body, you’d be healthier.
You aren’t happy so you don’t take care of yourself. But if you were to take care of yourself, you’d be happier.
Your life is really difficult and hard on you, so you cannot experience any flow or harmony. But if you were to feel flow and harmony, life wouldn’t be so difficult.
You want people to like you so you change yourself. But if you were to be your best self, people would like you.
Life is hectic, so you can’t feel at peace. But if you were to feel at peace, life wouldn’t seem so hectic.
You have more power than you know. Quit believing that you are a product of your life, and consider that maybe your life is a product of you.
