Many people come to this work after trying very hard to manage their stress.

They may understand what happened. They may have talked about it, analyzed it, read books, practiced positive thinking, or tried to push through difficult emotions. Yet certain situations still trigger strong reactions in the body — tension, overwhelm, anxiety, or emotional shutdown.

This is often because stress and trauma are not just stored in our thoughts — they are held in the nervous system.

My work focuses on helping the body release what it has been carrying so that people can respond to life with greater steadiness, clarity, and choice.

My Background

I began my career in healthcare as a physiotherapist. Over time I noticed something I couldn’t ignore: many people’s physical symptoms and ongoing stress seemed deeply connected to emotional experiences that hadn’t fully resolved.

Even when people understood their situations logically, their bodies were still reacting.
This led me to explore approaches that work directly with the nervous system and the body’s stress response.

Through this search, I trained in Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) and HeartMath, approaches that help regulate the nervous system while gently processing emotional stress.

Today I integrate these methods in a trauma-sensitive way to help people work with the deeper layers of stress that thinking alone cannot reach.

Why The Stress Experts?

You might wonder why the name is plural if it’s just me. The answer is simple: I didn’t name the business after myself — I named it after you.

My goal isn’t to be the expert on stress. It’s to help you become your own stress expert, learning tools and skills to help your nervous system settle and your life feel more manageable.

My Approach

Rather than focusing on talking through problems and endlessly analyzing them, this work helps the nervous system safely process and release the emotional intensity connected to difficult experiences.

Sessions prioritize:

safety and nervous-system regulation
working at a pace that feels manageable
helping the body settle while emotions are processed
creating real shifts that are felt, not just understood

Many people notice that when the nervous system settles, their perspective naturally changes. Situations that once felt overwhelming become easier to respond to with clarity and calm.

Who I Work With

People come to this work from many different walks of life.

Some are navigating the effects of difficult life experiences or trauma. Others feel stuck in patterns of stress, anxiety, or emotional overwhelm despite having done a lot of personal work.

I often work with:

• individuals seeking relief from ongoing stress or anxiety
• people carrying unresolved experiences or trauma
• those who feel emotionally “stuck” despite insight or therapy
• professionals in high-responsibility or high-exposure roles

This includes people working in fields where cumulative stress is common — such as healthcare, emergency services, leadership, agriculture, and other demanding professions.

What Sessions Are Like

Many people come to this work wondering what a session will actually feel like.

Sessions are typically calm and conversational. We move at a pace that feels manageable, with a focus on helping the nervous system settle while working through stressful or emotionally charged experiences.

You are always in control of the process, and we only work with what feels safe to explore.

Many people are surprised by how gentle the work can be while still creating meaningful change.
