Inner Pieces or Inner Peace

Do you live a compartmentalized life? Are you a different person in different places? Do you hold values with some people, then pitch them away with other people?

If I were to hold a meeting with your parents, spouse, kids, co-workers, friends, pastor, everyone you’ve met, if I were to gather them all in one room, and asked them one question, how they describe YOU, what would they say?

Would they all say the same thing about you? Would they agree on a description of you? Would it be unanimous? Do you treat them all the same? Are you the same you with all of them, in all those different areas of your life?

Living a divided compartmentalized life is a surefire way to be unhappy. After all, if you are internally divided, how can you ever have inner peace?

To start to bring about inner peace, grab a pen and paper, and dig deep.

  1. What are your values? Who are you really? What do you stand for?
  2. Where are you compromising your values? Why?
  3. Starting today, where can you start authentically living your values?

Bit by bit, you’ll start bringing all those separate pieces of yourself back together, healing yourself from the inside out, and creating your inner peace.
