Focus on Where You Want to Go

There is a tip that is given in drivers’ training: put your focus on where you want to go. If you want to miss that pothole or not hit that sign, don’t look at it.

I don’t think they know how much that tip pertains to life! If you don’t what to be somewhere in life, don’t think about it. Direct your focus to where you want to go, not to where you don’t want to go.

We all have have things we want to do and places we want to be in life, i.e. being manager of a company. And we all have things that we don’t want to do and places we don’t want to be in life i.e. failing an exam.

But if we focus on what we don’t what, that is exactly what is going to happen. It’s like I tell you, don’t think about a white elephant…and what is the thing you think about…a white elephant! It is inevitable!

Fears are very similar to focusing on what you don’t want. If you have a fear of failing an exam, don’t think about failing, think about and focus on passing!

“Where the focus goes, energy flows.” -Tony Robbins.

Here’s the tip: Focus on where you want to go and imagine and feel the feeling of already having it.
